Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for Anxiety
We provide an eight-week cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) group program to help people dealing with anxiety.
What we do
Our eight-week cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) group session program is designed to help people dealing with anxiety.
This program is available to patients of physicians at our Vaughan and Toronto sites.
What to expect
If you have anxiety, you may feel tense often and experience frequent worried thoughts. You may also have physical symptoms, such as high blood pressure.
During the program, which is led by a registered social worker, you will learn more about what anxiety is and how it shows up in your body.
We also talk about steps you can take to reduce your symptoms and feel more in control of your life.
What to bring
- Health (OHIP) card or valid health-care coverage
- A list of your current medications
- A list of questions you want to ask
- A support person, if desired
