Join us for a discussion with Drs. Maunder and Hunter about their research and their new book, Coping: Fix Problems, Find Meaning, Feel Better – a thoughtful and important publication that is accessible, compassionate and grounded in science. 

Drs. Bob Maunder and Jon Hunter are both professors at the University of Toronto and psychiatrists at Sinai Health. Dr. Maunder’s research is focused on stress, resilience and the interpersonal determinants of health, while his clinical work is focused on psychiatric aspects of living with certain chronic illnesses. Dr. Hunter’s research is focused on psychological management of patients with cancer, the role of early life experiences on illness, attachment and mentalization. His clinical practice centres on the psychiatric care of cancer patients.
