In this workshop, participants will learn to make traditional Wampum bracelets using beads.

Wampum beads, originally made from shells, were historically used by Indigenous Peoples for ceremonial purposes, trade and to record important events and agreements. Participants will be guided through the techniques of beadwork and create their own unique bracelet design. This hands-on experience offers a deeper understanding of Wampum’s cultural significance and Indigenous art. Facilitated by Siera Hancharyk.
