Dental hygienists help prevent oral diseases through dental cleanings, patient evaluations and guidance on oral hygiene practices.

Dental assistants are important members of our care team with special training in assisting our dentists before, during and after patient care.

Learners
Mount Sinai Hospital is a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Toronto. You may see a medical student, resident or other medical trainees as part of your care. Learners are supervised by other members of the health-care team.
