Gynaecology
The Gynaecology program at Mount Sinai Hospital specializes in providing advanced care for gynaecological conditions to medically complex patients and those with an elevated body mass index (BMI).
Our surgeons are renowned global leaders in minimally invasive surgery for those suffering from complex disorders like advanced endometriosis, fibroids and pelvic pain. They are surgical innovators focusing on intra-uterine, laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
Gynaecology is a joint program that operates clinics at both Mount Sinai Hospital and Women's College Hospital. We provide outpatient care for a wide range of gynaecological conditions with a special focus on the unique needs of those going through menopause.
Our dedicated physicians are actively involved in ongoing translational and health services research initiatives aimed at advancing the field of gynaecology and enhancing patient care.
As a fully affiliated institution with the University of Toronto, we proudly offer multiple fellowship programs to help train the next generation of health-care specialists.
