June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day, a day of cultural and spiritual significance for First Nations, Inuit and Métis to honour the summer solstice.

The City of Toronto will host a Sunrise Ceremony on Sunday, June 21 at 5:30 a.m. to mark National Indigenous Peoples Day at Nathan Phillips Square. All Torontonians are welcomed to attend this sacred ceremony to offer prayers and gratitude for all of creation and Mino Baamodziwin (The Good Life).
