Orthopaedics surgeons

Orthopaedic surgeons specialize in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. 

Anesthesiologists

Anesthesiologists deliver anesthesia before surgery and evaluate and monitor the patient before, during and after surgery. Learn more about the Anesthesiology and Pain Management Team. 


Advance practice physiotherapists 

Advanced practice physiotherapists have completed specialized training in orthopaedics. They make treatment plans to help patients self-manage conditions affecting the bones and muscles with exercises. They also provide exercise plans for patients recovering from orthopaedic surgery. 


Orthopaedic technologists 

Orthopaedic technologists apply, adjust and remove casts and splints for patients with fractures and other orthopaedic injuries.


Nurses

Nurses provide counselling, education and support for patients to help them manage and understand their treatment plans. 


Research coordinators

Research coordinators support clinical research studies aimed at improving patient care. 

They may speak with you or your family member about participating in a research study. Participation is entirely voluntary and will not affect the care you or your family member receive.


Learners
